Should Marijuana be legalized

feel like they want to keep marijuana un-legalized because its a way to keep blacks confined. People don't sell crack cocaine like they use to anymore. more people, more teenagers are smoking marijuana. they argue they can't put tax on it, i think otherwise. I feel that if it's legalized, less people will attempt to go out there way to rebel against it. People respond to rules. you say no, they say "Im going to do it anyway!" If you say yes, it's not as much of a necessity. & hey, even if i'm wrong, the money that it will bring in will not only help the economy, it will also help Americans with stress issues. "You know what smokers say, a blunt a day keeps the doctors away". Just something interesting that i read. Weed is definitely apart of black popular culture.

  1. The legalization of weed could do more good than harm. Like you stated, humans like the idea of the taboo or those things that are pushed away from them. I do not really think the issue is whether it should be legalized but moreso the thoughts that would associate the votes to do such a thing. I would like to see exactly who would vote for it. The arguments are everywhere: it may be a stress-reliever but there are other ways to relieve stress. Weed is not the only thing that does what it does. The over-saturation of the news waves concerning this topic may affect its chances of being legalized negatively.
